Chemical cleaning of closed water systems is a process used to remove contaminants, scale, corrosion, and other impurities from closed-loop systems such as heating or cooling systems.   • Inspect the system again to ensure that contaminants, scale, or corrosion have been effectively removed.
  • Add corrosion inhibitors to the system to protect it from future corrosion.
  • Bring the closed water system back into operation, monitoring its performance and water quality.
  • Document the entire chemical cleaning process, including the chemicals used, concentrations, circulation times, and results. This documentation can be valuable for future maintenance and compliance purposes.
