Education

Across the UK there are five stage of education: early years, primary, secondary, further education and higher education. Central Government

The UK’s central government (sometimes referred to as Whitehall) is made up of different thematic government departments, such as Health and Social Care, Transport, and Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy. For many years, PTSG has been delivering specialist services to the buildings of central government to ensure they remain safe, secure and clean.

Social Housing

The UK social housing sector provides affordable and subsidized housing to individuals and families who may have difficulty affording homes in the private rental or ownership market.   PTSG delivers specialist services, including passive fire services, Legionella testing and electrical compliance testing, to help keep social housing properties and residents safe.

Finance

2.5 million people are employed in the finance sector across the UK; over 1.1 million in financial services (FS) and more than 1.3 million in related professional services. It produces 12% (approximately £278bn) of the entire UK's economic output. PTSG delivers specialist services for some of the best-known names in the finance sector to keep their buildings at optimal efficiency and their users safe.

Aerospace

The UK's aerospace sector is a significant and diverse industry with a rich history of innovation. Healthcare

The healthcare sector in the UK is divided between the publicly-funded NHS and private medical and healthcare providers. The NHS is one of the most admired healthcare systems in the world. Emergency Services

In the UK there are four emergency services which maintain full-time emergency control centres (ECC), to which 999 emergency calls may be directly routed by emergency operators in telephone company operator assistance centres (OAC). They are: Ambulance, Police, Fire and HM Coastguard.  To help keep these vital services running efficiently, PTSG is called up to provide a variety of specialist services from its five business divisions.

Sport in the UK is a dynamic and diverse industry that encompasses professional and amateur competition to the facilities that host events. Energy and Utilities

The contribution to the UK economy by the energy industries peaked in 1982 at 10.4%. In 2021, the contribution by the energy industries to the UK economy was 2.5% of GVA, 0.3 percentage points higher than in 2020.   Electricity, gas and water are provided to a good standard and are largely privatised in the UK. However, UK water utilities are often limited to the one provider operating in your area. PTSG provides a variety of specialist services in this sector.

There are a number of designated heritage assets in the UK. The public sector comprises all levels of government, from national (central) government to regional and local government, or councils. They create and implement laws, regulations and policies that affect every UK citizen.
